Zero Emissions.
Full Commitment.
At Mile High Grass Cuts, we're not just cutting grass, we're cutting emissions, too.
As stewards of the environment and proud members of the Colorado community, we're taking bold steps toward becoming a fully electric, zero-emissions landscaping company by 2030.
Here’s how we’re making it happen:
Step One: Convert Handheld Equipment
(Completed February 2025)
We’ve officially converted all handheld tools & smaller equipment (including string trimmers, hedge trimmers, push mowers, & backpack blowers) to clean, quiet electric equipment. This first big step has already reduced noise & air pollution in the neighborhoods we serve.
Step Two: Larger Equipment Conversion
(In Progress)
Next up: converting our larger equipment, to electric models. We're testing options now to ensure they meet our high performance standards — without the emissions. So far, we’ve converted one of three riding mowers!
Step Three: Solar-Powered Charging
(Coming Soon)
We’ll be installing solar panels on our cargo trailer to sustainably power all the electric equipment while out in the field.
No gas, no cords, just clean & green energy, wherever we go!
Step Four: Electric Work Truck + EV Charging Station
(Coming Soon)
Our final step will be transitioning our work truck to electric and installing an EV charging station to keep our operations powered efficiently from start to finish.
Why It Matters
Switching to electric equipment reduces noise, eliminates fossil fuel use, and significantly lowers our carbon footprint. We're committed to leading the charge (literally) in sustainable landscaping across the greater Denver area — and we're just getting started.
